The Main Sensor for the Google Pixel 8 Pro could be an ISOCELL GN2

As information regarding Google’s upcoming Pixel 8 series leaks, anticipation is growing. With a temperature sensor, a potent processor, and a redesigned design, the Pixel 8 Pro will outperform its predecessor.

Upgrades to the camera system will also include a 64MP telephoto lens and a new primary sensor. The ultrawide lens present in the Pixel 8 Pro model is absent from the basic model.

The cameras in the Pixel 8 series will be excellent. The primary sensor in both models is the Samsung ISOCELL GN2, which has a 35% increase in light sensitivity over the previous model. This translates to higher shutter speeds with less blur and clearer low-light shots. Additionally, the sensor can capture 8K/30fps video.

Better ultrawide sensors, likely a 64MP Sony IMX787, will be used in the Pixel 8 Pro. The ultrawide photography will benefit from the bigger sensor. The Sony IMX386 sensor will remain in the base Pixel 8, however, it will have a superior 0.55x zoom ratio than the Pixel 7’s 0.67x.
