Global Medical Companies and Africa are Connected in Cairo

To explore the enormous potential and opportunities in the African market, local, regional, and international medical enterprises participated in the second edition of Africa Health ExCon, the continent’s largest healthcare exhibition.

The four-day event, which had the theme “Your Gate to Innovation and Trade,” brought together hundreds of exhibitors from almost 90 nations, including the US, Egypt, Germany, Russia, Egypt, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and China.

Egyptian medical device firm Euromed is present at the Africa Health ExCon to promote its internationally competitive medical products to African nations.

The business manufactures and exports a wide variety of medical goods to 45 nations, including Brazil, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Uganda, and Mali. The handcrafted items on display at the Euromed booth included nebulizer masks, oxygen masks, injectable syringes, and disposable needles.

The newest infant radiant warmer machine from China’s Comen Medical Instruments Co Ltd. was very well received by visitors. Chinese competitor Star Sports Medicine displayed equipment utilized in clinical sports medicine operations.

Health experts from a variety of sectors, including doctors, medical engineers, hospital administrators, and medical students, attended the exhibition. The event gave African health professionals a venue to network, interact, collaborate, and share expertise to advance healthcare in the continent.

Providing orthopedic braces and medical compression clothing were global medical titans Siemens and Thuasne. Egypt’s dedication to contributing positively to Africa’s healthcare industry is demonstrated by the expo’s strong attendance and the presence of major corporations.
