Cryptocurrencies to be allowed at five Belgian shopping centers soon

Beginning on December 18, the Wereldhave Belgium group will sell gift vouchers loaded with cryptocurrency at The Point service and information locations located in five retail centers.

The LYZI application is used to complete transactions. The Troov and Business apps have also been released by the group.

According to a statement released by the Wereldhave Belgium group, starting on December 18, customers will be able to buy gift certificates using cryptocurrency at The Point service and information locations located in five shopping centers: Nivelles, Tournai, Liège, Kortrijk, and Genk.

The Wereldhave Belgium group’s companion app, LYZI, facilitates the transaction and gift vouchers can be spent in practically any store.

Lately, the organization released the Business App, a smartphone app that connects stores and businesses inside the catchment map. Customers can schedule appointments for shopping through the Troov program, which was introduced by the business a few years ago.
