For sixty years, despite electing Dravidian parties, the quality of life has not increased. Seeman maintained that although voters have given the DMK and AIADMK ample opportunity for many years, they have not enacted any tangible projects or welfare programs that will pay off in the long run.

Given that the DMK administration funds its social programs mostly through the sale of alcohol, he questioned how they would help the public.
Seeman stressed that people should evaluate the political party they supported to ascertain whether or not it has delivered on its electoral pledges, rather than merely following the political parties’ lead.
