Almost 200 bombs have reportedly been launched over the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine by Russia, according to Volodymyr Zelensky, who has denounced the country’s “constant” operations against it.
There have been 30 documented cases of shelling over the day on Tuesday, prompting civilian evacuations due to the ongoing Russian airstrikes. Russia and Ukraine reported increased border strikes in the Belgorod region, resulting in evacuations on both sides.

Early on Wednesday, Engels Air Base, located deep into Russian territory, was targeted by Ukrainian drones operating under the auspices of the GUR military intelligence agency.
