To address the issue of air pollution that has been plaguing the nation’s capital for more than two weeks, the Delhi Environment Minister has called a meeting with all of the ministers. According to officials, the meeting will start at 12:30 p.m. at the Delhi Secretariat, according to PTI.

Several monitoring stations recorded an AQI above 400, and Delhi’s overall AQI of 421 has been classified as “severe.” Following Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad as the most polluted areas in the NCR was Greater Noida.

Mumbai’s aggregate quality index (AQI) fell into the ‘good’ category with a score of 33, while Worli and Chembur recorded AQIs and 300, respectively. A meeting to assess the pollution situation in the state of Maharashtra will be presided over by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Gopal Rai, the environment minister of Delhi, met with an IIT Kanpur team to talk about using cloud seeding to create artificial rainfall to lower the city’s air quality index (AQI).

Following the intervention of the Supreme Court, the 23-crore smog tower located in Connaught Place, Delhi, is anticipated to commence operations shortly. Because of the extreme air pollution, the Delhi government declared an early winter break for schools from November 9 to November 18.

Only taxis registered in Delhi are permitted to operate within the city; app-based cabs registered in other states are prohibited from entering the city by the Delhi government.
