After Arriving, Emiliano Martinez Calls India “A Dream”

At Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Emiliano Martinez, the goalkeeper who was instrumental in Argentina’s World Cup victory in Qatar, was met with a jubilant welcome by ardent fans.

Martinez will engage in many events from July 3 to July 6 when he is in the country, including meet-and-greets, conversations with kids at Santosh Mitra Square, and the Mohun Bagan Club, where the identities of Pele, Diego Maradona, and Garfield Sobers will be revealed.

India “A Dream”

Martinez is well-known for his ardent love of Argentine football and has gained a passionate following among football fans in Kolkata.

Martinez will see Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, and Sourav Ganguly, a former captain of the Indian cricket team, during his visit to Kolkata.
