  • Akhilesh Yadav charged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was trying to incite its workers.

Tuesday at 7 a.m., voters in 93 constituencies spread across 11 states and Union Territories could cast ballots in the third round of the 2024 Indian elections.

Important candidates include Pralhad Joshi, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Mansukh Mandaviya, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who are running from different constituencies. Given the prominent candidates and dynastic politics at play in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, this phase will have a big impact on the political landscape.

Election 2024

Supriya Sule, the daughter of NCP founder Sharad Pawar, and Sunetra Pawar, the wife of Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, are engaged in a major struggle in Baramati, Maharashtra, which is regarded as a bastion of the “Pawar family.”

With three relatives running in this round, the late Mulayam Singh Yadav’s family is also well-represented. Akhilesh Yadav charged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was trying to incite its workers, but the party reaffirmed its resolve to remain composed and expressed confidence in winning.

Four independent MLAs who are currently supporting the Nayab Singh Saini government have chosen to support the Congress candidates in the Lok Sabha elections, which is a major setback to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana. Former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and head of the Haryana Congress, Udai Bhan, will be present for the final formal announcement.

Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, said that workers of the party are calm despite the BJP’s attempts to incite them since they are sure of winning. He dismissed the remarks made by BJP officials as expressions of annoyance.
