On Tuesday night, the former president of the United States gave his enthusiastic support to Kari Lake in her bid for the Arizona Senate.

Trump said he needs strong warriors like Kari when he gets back to the White House, praising her for her grit, kindness, and potential in the Senate.

Senate contest in Arizona

Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake, a Democrat, declared her intention to run against Sen. Kyrsten Sinema in the fall. Republicans consider her to be the clear favorite to defeat Republican Mark Lamb in the GOP primary.

Regarding her ambitions for reelection, Sinema has mostly kept quiet, but her political team is disseminating a prospectus that lists the Republicans, Democrats, and independents she thinks may ally a reelection path. Sinema would face a challenging ascent, according to race polling.

In a hypothetical battle, Gallego was at 41%, Lake was at 36%, and Sinema was at 15% according to a poll by Public Policy Polling. In contrast, Sinema was at 19% in another survey conducted by the Republican firm National Research Inc. showing Lake ahead of Gallego by 37% to 33%.

According to the president, advancing the “America First” program will require a sizable majority in both the House and the Senate.
