Rwandan Government Decided to Shut its Burundi Border

  • Burundi has said the December assault killed 20 individuals.

The Rwandan government says Burundi had chosen to close its line with the East African country, weeks after its leader blamed Kigali for facilitating a revolutionary gathering.

In late December, Burundi’s leader, Evariste Ndayishimiye, blamed Rwanda for facilitating and preparing the Red Tabara rebel bunch, which guaranteed liability regarding an assault close to Burundi’s western boundary with the Popularity based Republic of the Congo (DRC).
