writing one’s own narrative and pursuing a meaningful life. Prof. Manindra Agrawal, the Director of IIT Kanpur, congratulated the graduates and highlighted the value of leveraging their technical expertise for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Celebrating Excellence: IIT Kanpur’s 57th Convocation Ceremony

Awards were presented to exceptional students for their outstanding achievements. Kunwar Preet Singh received the President’s Gold Medal, while Viplav Patel and Sarthak Kohli were honored with the Director’s Gold Medals. The Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Medal for best all-round performance went to Garima Bawa, and Tejas Ramakrishnan was awarded the Ratan Swarup Memorial Prize. These recognitions underscore the high academic standards and all-round excellence fostered at IIT Kanpur.

Prof. Manindra Agrawal, the Director of IIT Kanpur, addressed the graduates, congratulating them on their achievements and urging them to use their technical knowledge to solve societal challenges and foster economic growth through innovation and entrepreneurship. Several students were honored with prestigious awards during the ceremony.
