Four persons who attempted to enter Israel from Lebanon to plant an explosive have been killed by the Israeli military, sparking fears that the war may intensify and turn into a larger regional confrontation.

A UN peacekeeping mission reported escalating skirmishes between the two sides, prompting the Israeli Defense Mission (IDF) to ask Hezbollah to keep a careful eye on Hamas’s condition. Additionally, the Lebanese militant group has been cautioned by the IDF spokesperson not to cross the threshold.

As part of the most recent fighting between the two sides, Israel conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah locations in Lebanon during the night. Ali Fadavi, the deputy commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, issued a warning to Israel, saying that if its “atrocities” in Gaza continue, “another shockwave” is coming.

The World Health Organization (WHO) issued a warning about a protracted humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territories and noted that 115 medical facilities have been attacked in Gaza throughout the fighting.

Israel’s siege of Gaza and its order to evacuate its citizens may constitute an international crime of forcible transfer of population, the UN human rights office has warned. Regarding Israel’s strikes on Gaza, Iran forewarned it to expect “pre-emptive action” in the next few hours.

Hossein Amirabdollahian, Iran’s foreign minister, declared that the resistance front is capable of fighting the enemy for a long time and that the commanders of the resistance will not permit the Zionist regime to act in Gaza.
