She had previously been elected Miss Utah, and at the glamorous event, she became the first Venezuelan-American to win the title.

Under the direction of Layla Rose, who took charge after Crystle Stewart resigned, fashion designer Voigt, 22, won the inaugural competition of the Miss USA Organization.

She was raised by an American-Venezuelan couple and was born in Florida. She is currently pursuing a degree in interior design.

The multilingual Venezuelan-American diva, a bilingual Venezuelan-American, stressed the value of engaging with people as the brand ambassador for Miss USA, pointing out that the United States is a diverse nation.

According to her, a Miss USA should be representative of every community, regardless of origin, race, or ethnicity. She hopes to represent the United States at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador in November because she is a bilingual Venezuelan-American who wants to connect with the varied community.
