The three films that Shah Rukh Khan released in 2023—Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki—all embraced patriotism in unique ways. He portrayed a RAW agent defending his nation from an enemy in Pathaan, and he reminded voters of their responsibility to cast informed ballots in Jawan.

He talked about appreciating one’s home country rather than relocating to another in Dunki. SRK showed his patriotism when he was named the “Indian of the Year” at a recent function.

Thanking his audience for making him a “star yet again” in 2023, Shah Rukh expressed his gratitude to them. He also conveyed gratitude to the crowd for their support of him and his household.

After his 2018 film Zero suffered a box office setback, Shah Rukh stopped making movies. Before his return in 2023 with Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan, he had been absent from leading parts for about five years. A total of Rs 2,500 crore was made globally by his three films.

The star hasn’t revealed the title of his upcoming movie. He stated that his next movie, in which he will be in a “more age real” character in, will begin shooting in March in a previous interview with MBC Bollywood.

Pathaan came out in 2023, during one of the worst periods for Hindi cinema; however, after the film’s premiere, things started to change. Shah Rukh stated at a recent event that he was “scared” when the YRF movie came out, but that producer Aditya Chopra, director Siddharth Anand, and he had nothing but joy when Pathaan took the top spot at the box office.

Pathaan’s box office performance, according to Shah Rukh, was shocking and unheard of—even for Yash Raj Pictures. Dunki and Jawan gave him two more hits in 2023. He saw his return to the public as a confirmation that he belonged and should carry on performing, rather than as a comeback.
