Rachael Zegler thanks the public for its support

Sincere gratitude is extended to her supporters for sticking by her during the controversy over her Snow White remake, which Rachel Zegler is aware of.

If you didn’t hear, earlier this week, pictures from the set of Disney’s newest live-action remake were posted online, sparking a firestorm of controversy.

Rachael Zegler

The diverse cast that was chosen for the parts that are typically referred to as the “Dwarfs” received criticism for it. The racist backlash against Rachel’s casting had already been present when the new photos were released, and it has since flared up once more.

She responded to the criticism on social media and thanked her supporters for supporting her. In addition, the actress published some images that served as a reminder to everyone that she has long been a princess!

  • Rachel Zegler expresses gratitude to supporters for supporting her during the Snow White controversy.
  • Critics criticize diverse “Dwarfs” cast, citing racist backlash.
  • Rachel shares photos promoting kids’ princess potential, encouraging them to be princesses.

Extensively grateful for the support she has received online, Rachel wrote before pleading with her fans to “please don’t tag me in the nonsensical discourse about my casting.” I really, truly do not want to see it, she added in her explanation.

In addition to her message, Rachel included four pictures of herself as a child dressed as different princesses, with the most stylish Snow White at the top.

‘I leave you with these photos!’ I want all kids to know that they can be princesses no matter what, she wrote. We are so excited to see Rachel’s interpretation of the traditional fairytale because we adore her message! If you missed it, we’ve already seen her in action on set.

Regrettably, Rachel is not the only Disney princess who has had to confront racist criticism over her casting.
