  • Sponsored by HL Mando Anand India with monthly stipend and full benefits.
  • Open to diploma holders across Tamil Nadu, with applications closing on June 6, 2025.

Anna University’s University College of Engineering in Kancheepuram has introduced a new opportunity for diploma holders in Tamil Nadu. They have launched a dedicated four-year BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) program.

Unlike traditional engineering programs, this one is fully industry-integrated and backed by HL Mando Anand India. The sponsorship includes a ₹14,500 monthly stipend during industrial training, along with free food, accommodation, transport, and medical insurance.

New Pathway to Engineering: Anna University Empowers Diploma Graduates with Industry-Backed EEE Course

This new program marks a significant step in inclusive higher education. It is especially noteworthy for diploma holders who often struggle to transition into mainstream engineering programs. With industry support, the program aims to blend academic learning with practical training. This enhances technical capabilities from day one.

The eligibility criteria are clearly defined, prioritizing diploma holders from across Tamil Nadu. Selection is merit-based, factoring in marks from diploma exams and following the state’s reservation policy. In the event of a tie, preference is given to older candidates, ensuring a fair and transparent admission process.

The program is hosted at the University College of Engineering Kancheepuram (UCEK), a constituent college of Anna University known for its academic rigor and industry partnerships. Students admitted to this program will benefit not just from a reputable curriculum. They will also have close mentorship and career grooming.

Online counseling ensures wider access and streamlined admissions. By eliminating the need for physical presence, Anna University is also reducing barriers for rural and economically disadvantaged students. This promotes broader access to quality technical education.

This initiative not only opens new academic doors for diploma holders. It also reflects Anna University’s commitment to evolving with the needs of students and industry alike.
