The first hydrogen VTOL jet in the world is unveiled by Sirius Aviation

  • The world‘s first hydrogen VTOL aircraft, the Sirius Jet, was presented by Swiss firm Sirius Aviation AG.
  • Developed in cooperation with BMW Designworks and Sauber Group.
  • The Sirius Business Jet and the Sirius Millennium Jet are the two versions of the Sirius Jet that will be offered in 2025.

Launched by the Swiss firm Sirius Aviation AG, the Sirius Jet is the first Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by hydrogen.

Developed in cooperation with BMW Designworks and Sauber Group, the high-performance VTOL aircraft reaches great altitudes, remarkable speeds, and extended flight ranges while operating almost silently.

Sirius Aviation

The Sirius Business Jet and the Sirius Millennium Jet are the two versions of the Sirius Jet that will be offered in 2025. Designed to meet the demands of private aviation, the Business Jet has an ultra-quiet noise level of 60dBa, an altitude capacity of 30,000 feet, and an 1150-mile flight range at 323 mph. It can fit up to three people in comfort.

The Sirius Millennium Jet is designed for use in commercial aviation and has a range of 650 miles at a cruise speed of 323 mph, a ceiling of 30,000 feet, a noise level of 60 decibels, and seating capacity for up to five people.

Sirius Aviation AG has strategic alliances with prominent companies around the world. Two such alliances are BMW Group‘s DesignWorks and the Sauber Group, which is well-known for its prowess in Formula 1.
