Man Killed by Shark Attack

Shortly after 10 a.m. on Saturday, paramedics were sent to a beach near Elliston, South Australia, to assist a man following claims of a shark attack.

While the South Australian State Emergency Services sent a marine rescue boat from Port Lincoln, the South Australian Police are in charge of leading the hunt for the guy with assistance from locals.

Police announced in a statement that “a man is believed to have died in a shark attack at Walkers Rocks Beach,” adding that the 46-year-old was the only one thought to have been attacked.

A team was reportedly scouring the region using a boat, according to a state emergency services official.
