Israel will leave a community near its border with Lebanon

  • Airstrikes on Gaza’s fourteenth day of hostilities with Hamas persisted.
  • In a deal reached by US President Joe Biden, emergency help was promised to Palestinians in Gaza.
  • On Friday, Sunak’s visit to Egypt, where he will emphasize how crucial it is to stop any further violence.

Even in locations designated as safe zones, airstrikes on Gaza’s fourteenth day of hostilities with Hamas persisted. The United States has reaffirmed its support for Israel and stressed how important it is to secure Hamas’ hostage-taking victims’ release.

In a deal reached by US President Joe Biden, emergency help was promised to Palestinians in Gaza. Food, medication, water purifiers, and hygiene supplies were among the necessities that cargo planes brought to Egypt’s El Arish airport; the Rafah border crossing into Gaza is anticipated to open shortly.

Israel will leave

On October 7, a violent attack by Hamas sparked an all-out Israeli counteroffensive. At least 1,400 people, primarily civilians, were allegedly murdered in the initial strike, according to Israel, and another 1,500 Islamist combatants were reportedly slain in follow-up fighting. As a result of Israeli bombardment, Palestinians have suffered casualties; at least 3,785 deaths, mostly of civilians, have been reported by the Gaza Health Ministry.

The family of a Palestinian-American boy who was killed in a hate crime last week close to Chicago has spoken with US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

The Bidens sent prayers for Wadea’s mother’s full recovery and their condolences to the Alfayoumi family, according to a statement released by the White House.

Friday is British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak‘s visit to Egypt, where he will emphasize how crucial it is to stop any further violence in the area in the wake of Hamas’s onslaught on Gaza.

In addition to expressing his support for Israel, he hopes to negotiate the release of captives held by Hamas and make it easier to deliver humanitarian relief to Gaza’s citizens.
