Three people have been murdered in a drone strike on the Belgorod region of Russia, which comes after another incident in central Moscow. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of Belgorod, accused Kyiv of being responsible for the incident, saying the Ukrainian military used a drone to throw an explosive device when people were on the street.
Although Kyiv hasn’t admitted guilt in each incident, it rarely speaks up about assaults inside Russia. After the initial attack, a second drone was shot down above the area.
Drones hit Moscow
Another drone strike was alleged to have occurred in Moscow, this time hitting a construction site. There were no reported deaths when air defenses previously shot down two drones in the Moscow region’s Mozhaisk and Khimki districts.
Early on Wednesday, flights to and from Moscow’s airports were halted, though they eventually resumed as usual. The Moscow region had been subjected to aerial assaults for the sixth night running.
Due to electronic warfare devices suppressing it, the drone that struck the building in the Moscow city complex lost control and struck it. Emergency personnel were surveying the area after several windows in two five-story buildings opposite the scene were broken.
According to the US State Department, it does not support drone attacks in Russia and Ukraine must choose how to defend itself.
In recent months, reports of drone attacks inside Russia have multiplied. Two drones were shot down over the Moscow area on Tuesday, according to the Russian defense ministry, while two more were intercepted over the Bryansk area close to the Ukrainian border.
