Australia’s most well-known ski resorts are being forced to close early due to little snowfall as a result of the warmest winter on record.
On Saturday, Perisher announced that Blue Cow and Guthega will be closed alongside Smiggin Holes and Perisher. This made it the most recent resort to notify that further areas would be closed.

Skiing and snowboarding will be discontinued at Mt. Baw Baw in Victoria and Selwyn Snow Resort in New South Wales beginning on Monday.

It has been difficult to recall the incredible pow days of mid-June and the string of breathtaking bluebirds in late July due to the recent low precipitation, higher temperatures, and little possibility for snowmaking.
