Assessing the value of a sunroof car

A sunroof is a common feature in contemporary cars that gives them more flair and sophistication. Its black-tinted top glass gives the vehicle a more upscale appearance, making it a requirement for entry-level SUVs.

Sunroofs allow sunshine to enter the vehicle, which makes them handy in cold weather and swiftly dissipates heat.

However, they might not be appropriate for harsh weather, crowded metropolitan streets, or polluted places where dirt and grime could foul the cabin. The sunroof additionally needs routine upkeep and cleaning.

One of the least expensive vehicles with a sunroof is the Tata Nexon, which retails for up to Rs. 10.25 lakh for the XMA AMT S model and Rs. 8 lakhs for the Nexon XE. The Maruti Brezza Zxi AT model sells for Rs 12.54 lakh, while the Lxi model without a sunroof costs Rs 8.29 lakh.

  • Tata Nexon offers affordable sunroof vehicles, while Maruti Brezza Zxi costs higher.
  • Kia Sonet costs between Rs. 11.99 lakhs with sunroof and Rs. 7.79 lakhs without.

The base price of Hyundai‘s SUV Creta with a sunroof is Rs 15.79 lakh, while the base price of the non-sunroof version can be as low as Rs 10.87 lakh.

A Kia Sonet with a sunroof can cost as little as Rs. 11.99 lakhs, while the HTE model without a sunroof can cost as much as Rs. 7.79 lakhs. It is significant to remember that sunroof variations may come with extra amenities to support the cost.
