Rosé Makes Hollywood Debut with Brad Pitt’s F1: The Album

  • Rosé headlines Track 5, Messy, on the F1 movie soundtrack.
  • F1: The Album includes stars like Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, and Burna Boy.
  • The movie F1, starring Brad Pitt, premieres June 27, 2025.

Rosé of BLACKPINK has officially entered the Hollywood music scene. She has done so with her contribution to F1: The Album, the original soundtrack for Brad Pitt’s upcoming Formula 1 drama.

The film F1, directed by Top Gun: Maverick’s Joseph Kosinski, stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes. Sonny is portrayed as a retired Formula 1 driver making a dramatic comeback.

Rosé Races into Hollywood with First Movie Soundtrack for F1

Rosé’s song Messy is expected to blend her signature emotional vocal style with cinematic energy. This will add depth to a film that promises speed and adrenaline. This is her first time participating in a Hollywood OST. Fans have been buzzing since she teased the news with a social media post celebrating the milestone.

Her involvement follows the footsteps of fellow BLACKPINK members branching into acting—Lisa in The White Lotus and Jennie in The Idol. However, Rosé’s entry into film comes through music, staying true to her core strength. With F1: The Album, she establishes a new lane in her solo career.

The soundtrack itself is a star-studded global collaboration. It features names like Don Toliver, Burna Boy, Tiësto, and Chris Stapleton contributing across genres. The first single, “Lose My Mind” by Don Toliver and Doja Cat, dropped on April 30. There will be more high-profile releases leading up to the film.

Rosé’s partnership with Atlantic Records began after she left YG Entertainment. This new collaboration has positioned her as a global artist with strategic crossover appeal. Her record-breaking single “Apt.” with Bruno Mars continues to dominate the charts. This signals that her influence spans far beyond K-pop.

Rosé’s Hollywood debut with F1 shows her evolution as a global music icon. It proves she’s ready to steer her artistry into bold, cinematic territory.

“I am soooooo fricken excited for you all to hear my very first movie soundtrack. It is happening!! This movie’s gonna be willldddd.” – Rosé
