Oppo has officially introduced its latest foldable smartphone, the Oppo N5, which boasts a sleek 8.93mm thickness and high-end specifications, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 5,600mAh battery, and Hasselblad-tuned cameras.

Alongside the N5, Oppo launched the Watch X2, a high-end smartwatch running Wear OS with ECG monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and a 60-second health checkup feature.

Oppo N5 & Watch X2 Debut Globally with Cutting-Edge Tech

The Oppo N5 is designed to compete in the foldable segment, featuring a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage for smooth multitasking. Its 50MP Hasselblad main camera and 50MP telephoto sensor enhance mobile photography, while the 80W wired and 50W wireless charging ensure fast power-ups.

A standout feature of the Oppo Watch X2 is its dual-chip architecture, combining Snapdragon W5 and BES2800BP MCU for efficiency. The 1.5-inch OLED display boasts 2,200 nits brightness, protected by Sapphire Crystal Glass. Its battery lasts up to 5 days in Smart Mode and extends to 16 days in Power Saver Mode.

The Oppo N5’s foldable design aims for a seamless user experience, reducing bulk without compromising power. With a 6.62-inch cover screen and an 8.12-inch inner screen, the device supports smooth transitions, high brightness, and an immersive display. Oppo has yet to confirm its India launch, but global markets are expected to receive it soon.

Oppo’s expansion into foldables and smartwatches underscores its commitment to innovation. While the Oppo N5’s India debut remains unconfirmed, its thin form factor and flagship specs could make it a strong contender if released. The Watch X2 further strengthens Oppo’s wearable ecosystem with advanced health tracking and premium build quality.

With the Oppo N5’s cutting-edge foldable technology and the Watch X2’s advanced health monitoring, Oppo continues to push boundaries in mobile innovation. The global launch signals Oppo’s ambitions in the flagship space, and an India release could make waves in the premium market.
