Launch of Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India at 12 pm

  • On April 3, Motorola plans to introduce the Edge 50 Pro smartphone to the Indian market.
  • Three Pantone-validated colorways—Purple, Black, and Silver—will be offered for the smartphone.
  • The Edge 50 Pro will include a 4,500 mAh battery that can be charged at 125W fast wired and 50W wireless rates.

On April 3, Motorola plans to introduce the Edge 50 Pro smartphone to the Indian market. On the official corporate website and YouTube page, the debut ceremony will be broadcast live.

Three Pantone-validated colorways—Purple, Black, and Silver—will be offered for the smartphone. A 6.7-inch 3D curved pOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 2000nits peak brightness, 1.5K resolution, and support for HDR10+ content will be included. Pantone verifies the color accuracy of the display.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro

The Edge 50 Pro, which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 CPU, will include a 4,500 mAh battery that can be charged at 125W fast wired and 50W wireless rates.

With the company‘s Hello UI built on top, it will boot into the Android 14 operating system. Motorola guarantees OS updates for the smartphone for a maximum of three years.

With three cameras: a 50MP primary camera with AI features, a 13MP macro ultrawide camera, a telephoto OIS camera with 30x hybrid zoom capabilities, and a 50MP front-facing selfie camera, the Edge 50 Pro will have a triple camera arrangement. In addition, there will be a 50MP front camera, a 10MP telephoto, a 13MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP primary camera on the smartphone.
