The fourth quarter results of the 2023–24 fiscal year (FY24) showed a five-fold increase in net profit for United Breweries Ltd, reaching Rs 80.15 crore.

Revenue from operations for the company increased 17% in Q4FY24 to Rs 4,788.68 crore from Rs 4,081.01 crore in Q3FY24. Compared to 17,40,649 units in April of last year, India’s passenger car retail sales climbed by 27% to 22,06,070 units.

Due to staffing shortages, Air India Express had to cancel roughly 70 flights, which had an impact on several passengers. The NSE Nifty50 dropped about 70 points, and the BSE Sensex dropped more than 250 points as the stock market continued to move lower.

A reduction of fifty percent has been announced in the yearly membership cost for insolvency professionals and Insolvency Professional Entities (IPEs) by the Indian Institute of Insolvency Professionals of ICAI (IIIPI).
