  • From India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, only two teams will advance to the championship game.

On reserve day (September 11), India defeated Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match, earning their biggest-ever victory.

In Colombo, Pakistan was humiliated by Kuldeep Yadav’s five-wicket haul as Virat Kohli and KL Rahul both scored hundreds. India is in first place in the Super 4 standings and has two points overall.

Asia Cup 2023

KL Rahul made his comeback for India with a run-a-ball hundred in his first game since getting hurt during the IPL 2023. India reached a score of 356/2 in 50 overs thanks to his and Kohli’s unbroken 233-run partnership for the third wicket.

Pakistan’s response never truly got off as India’s bowlers made progress. Pakistan was dismissed for 128 in 32 overs by Kuldeep Yadav, who finished with scores of 5/25 in just eight overs. Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Shardul Thakur each claimed one wicket.

As of right moment, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka all have two points, while Bangladesh is no longer in the running for the championship after falling to Sri Lanka in their crucial match.

From India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, only two teams will advance to the championship game. Cricket fans will be able to see the India vs. Pakistan final if both India and Pakistan defeat Sri Lanka in their respective matches. The IND vs. PAK championship game would be in jeopardy if Sri Lanka defeated either of the two.
