Seeman: Is there a reason Modi is now discussing Katchatheevu?

  • Modi and other political figures only became aware of the Katchatheevu issue before the Lok Sabha elections.
  • Seeman questioned how the authorities could have been blind to the fact that the Sri Lankan Navy was killing Indian fishermen.
  • Mr. Seeman has voiced worries over the state’s impending government activities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other political figures, according to the chief coordinator of Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) S. Seeman, only became aware of the Katchatheevu issue before the Lok Sabha elections.

Seeman questioned how these authorities could have been blind to the fact that the Sri Lankan Navy was killing Indian fishermen. He recommended that the RTI Act be used by the BJP to get information about the genocide of Tamils during ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka.

Seeman also questioned Modi’s attempts to advance Tamil development and blamed the BJP for the violence in Gujarat and Manipur. Mr. Seeman, a well-known politician in Karnataka, has voiced worries over the state’s impending government activities.

In addition to questioning the quantity of minority candidates in the DMK, he questioned whether the BJP and RSS battled for freedom.

In addition, he questioned the other parties’ dread of the “sugarcane farmer” symbol and implied that if NTK were elected, they could offer the populace basic facilities and employment prospects. Seeman believes that the party would protect minority rights if elected.
