Argentina’s President Milei Receives ILAN’s Innovation in Politics Award

  • President Javier Milei honored with ILAN’s first Innovation in Politics Award.
  • ILAN Foundation launches in Argentina to boost Latin American innovation.
  • Partnership leverages Israel’s “Start-Up Nation” model for regional development.

Argentinian President Javier Milei was recently honored with the ILAN Foundation’s first-ever Innovation in Politics Award. This recognition came as part of the launch of the ILAN Foundation in Argentina, aimed at driving innovation across Latin America by leveraging Israel’s advanced technological ecosystem.

This initiative underscores Argentina’s potential to become a regional leader in innovation, fostering collaboration between government, academia, and private sectors.

ILAN Honors Milei with Innovation Award

The ILAN Foundation, founded by Jewish Syrian-Mexican businessman Isaac Assa, seeks to replicate Israel’s successful “Start-Up Nation” model in Latin America. Assa’s vision involves creating opportunities for young innovators to connect with Israel’s technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Isaac Assa, the founder of ILAN, emphasized Argentina’s potential to become a leader in innovation within the region. Assa’s efforts are inspired by his close relationship with the late Shimon Peres, former President of Israel, and his belief in the transformative power of innovation.

ILAN operates on the ‘Israeli Innovation Triangle’ model, which unites government, academia, and private initiative to achieve a balanced and effective innovation ecosystem. This model has been instrumental in Israel’s rise as a global tech hub, often called the “Start-Up Nation.” The foundation plans to partner with Argentine universities to identify and support innovative student projects with social impact.

Through the ILAN Foundation, young Argentinian innovators will have the opportunity to connect with Israel’s advanced technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem. This partnership is expected to foster an exchange of knowledge and experiences, leading to new opportunities for collaboration and joint growth.

The launch of the ILAN Foundation in Argentina and President Milei’s recognition highlight the potential for significant advancements in innovation across Latin America. By leveraging Israel’s successful model, this partnership promises to foster new opportunities for collaboration and development, driving progress in various critical sectors.

“It’s clear that Argentina fosters and drives innovation progress in its country and Latin America.
