Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the world’s largest meditation center ‘Swarved Mahamandir’

  • Verses from the Swarveda are carved on the walls of the Mahamantra — a seven-storied superstructure.
  • Seminars are planned on innovation, business, knowledge transfer, academia and next generation technology.
  • The walls are decorated with pink sandstone and the luxury is further enhanced by a beautiful garden with medicinal herbs.

PM Modi said that India has long been an example of economic prosperity and physical development and the government, community and monks are making all necessary efforts to revive Kashi.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present at the swearing-in ceremony.

Classic example of India’s rich heritage

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the newly constructed Swarved Mahamantra at Umaraha, Varanasi, adding a magnificent spiritual landmark to the holy city, in a video shared by ANI.

Standing tall on seven floors and having a capacity of 20,000 devotees, the Swarved Mahamandir is a breathtaking architectural marvel. Verses from the Swarveda are carved on the walls of the Mahamantra — a seven-storied superstructure.

The walls are decorated with pink sandstone and the luxury is further enhanced by a beautiful garden with medicinal herbs.

Its intricate marble sculptures and towering lotus-shaped domes reflect the city’s rich cultural heritage and blend seamlessly with modern design elements.

Addressing an event on Sunday, the Prime Minister said, “I request the people of Tamil Nadu to use AI technology for the first time to use your earphones (to listen to speech).”

Modi expressed hope that artificial intelligence will make it easier to reach people. “This is my first experience. I will use it in future and you have to answer. Now, as usual, I am speaking in Hindi and AI will translate it to Tamil,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that coming from Tamil Nadu to Kashi is like coming from one house of Mahadev to another, and coming from Tamil Nadu to Kashi is like coming from Madurai Meenakshi to Kashi Visalakshi.

“So, the love and bond in the hearts of Tamil Nadu and Khasi people is different and unique. I am sure the Khasi people will leave no stone unturned in serving you all.

When you leave, you will take with you the blessings of Baba Vishwanath, the taste, culture and memories of Khasi,” Modi said.
