In a proactive response, authorities in Tiruchirapalli district seized and destroyed 250 liters of illicit liquor. District Collector Pradeep Kumar led efforts to educate the community about the dangers of consuming illicit alcohol and secured commitments from locals to abstain. Chief Minister MK Stalin announced that the state government will cover the education and hostel expenses for children who lost one or both parents in the tragedy.

Medical personnel responded swiftly, with 56 doctors from various medical colleges deployed to treat the affected. The medical intervention has been crucial in stabilizing many patients, though the critical cases continue to receive intensive care. This rapid mobilization underscores the state’s commitment to managing the health crisis effectively.

In a parallel effort to prevent future incidents, officials in Tiruchirapalli district, led by District Collector Pradeep Kumar, seized and disposed of 250 liters of illicit liquor. During a session in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, Chief Minister MK Stalin reassured the public that the state government would support the education and hostel expenses for children who lost parents in the tragedy. The Assembly session also saw opposition members from AIADMK demanding a detailed discussion on the incident, highlighting the political ramifications and the urgency for government action.
