Due to Mumbai Dry Day Liquor Sales were Banned

  • Bars and wine shops in Mumbai will be shut from 5 PM on May 18 and will resume at 5 PM on May 20.
  • All wine shops and bars will be shut on surveying day to keep public control.
  • There will be one more dry day in Mumbai on June 4 during vote counting until results are reported.

Mumbai will notice dry days from May 18 to 20 in light of the fifth period of the 2024 Lok Sabha Decisions 2024. Mumbai, Palghar, Kalyan, and Thane are among the critical voting demographics in Maharashtra that are going to be surveyed on May 20. These supporters will likewise notice dry days.

Liquor Sales Were Banned in Mumbai

According to the mandate from the Political Decision Commission of India (ECI), the voting demographic where the political decision is held and the adjoining electorates should follow these dry days. This action guarantees a fair and quiet political decision process across the impacted regions.

As per reports, dry days will be seen in Gurgaon, Haryana, from 6 PM on May 23 to 6 PM on May 25 as a result of the Lok Sabha Races 2024. On those days, liquor deals will be prohibited in Delhi-NCR also.

Pune, Shirur, and Maval supporters prior proclaimed dry days in surveying regions on May 13. Alcohol deals were restricted from 6 PM on May 11 until 6 PM on May 13.

In Kolkata, there are seven dry days in May, influencing an entire end of the week and part of another. The assigned dry days are May 18, beginning from 6 PM, and the whole day on May 19. May 20 will likewise notice an alcohol boycott for the rest of the surveying.
