Thanks to the Taste Atlas rankings, a well-known travel and culinary guide, Indian food has become more well-known worldwide.

The ’50 Best Lamb Dishes In The World’ list, which is listed as of March 2024, is the most recent honor. Galouti Kebab from Lucknow and Rogan Josh from Kashmir are two Indian delicacies that made it to the top 30.

Lamb Dishes

While Taste Atlas believes its roots are linked to Haji Mohammad Fakr-e-Alam Saheb, who brought it to Nawab Asad-ud-Daula, who wanted a soft kebab variation for his toothless mouth, the guide describes a tender kebab with a spicy red sauce from deseeded Kashmiri peppers. The red sauce on the dish is said to be rich and hot.

Turkey’s Cag kebab, Greece’s Paidakia, and Turkey’s Doner kebab held the top spots among the “Greatest Lamb Dishes in the World.”

Before this, the “Greatest Sandwiches in the World” were featured on a Taste Atlas list that made news this year. Not only did Maharashtra’s well-known vada pav rank in the top 30 or 50, but it did. According to the guide’s rankings, it was one of the top 20 sandwiches.
