The latest music video for “SHEESH” by BabyMonster, a South Korean girl group under YG Entertainment management, has accomplished an impressive feat.

Released on April 1st, the video became their fastest video to gain 200 million views in less than 33 days and 20 hours. Known by their stage name Baemon, BabyMonster is a seven-piece band that debuted on November 27, 2023, with the single “Batter Up”.

YG Entertainment, which is well-known for producing the girl groups Blackpink (2016) and 2NE1 (2009), started soliciting applications from around the world in 2018 and started making indications that their next girl group would be formed.

In January 2020, YG Entertainment registered the names “BabyMonster” and “Baemon,” which were first proposed for Blackpink, as trademarks in both Korean and English. From their first appearance on the scene to the success of their chart-topping pre-debut single “Dream,” BabyMonster’s journey has been extraordinary.

Their devoted fan base and widespread appeal across the globe are evident in their quick ascent to become the fastest K-pop girl group to reach one million followers on YouTube.
