Jama Masjid Mosque Ban
The notification declaring the boycott was placed on the entry doors of Jama Masjid a couple of days back. The Executive of the Delhi Commission for Ladies, Swati Maliwal, said she will give a notification to the Jama Masjid organization over the issue and added that nobody has the option to issue such a boycott.
In the meantime, Sabiullah Khan, the Advertising Official for Jama Masjid shielded the move, saying the boycott is to forestall ladies shooting recordings for virtual entertainment as it upsets individuals who are there to offer namaaz.
“No limitations on families or wedded couples,” he added. As per PTI, the notification outside the doors of the seventeenth-century Mughal-time landmark that draws in thousands day to day – peruses: “Jama Masjid mein ladki ya ladkiyon ka akele daakhla mana hai (Passage of young lady, or young ladies isn’t permitted…)”
- Women are not allowed to enter the Jama Masjid Mosque.
- It was mentioned in the notice stick by the Mughal emperors.
- Now it was announced only family women are allowed not individuals.
Nonetheless – and as per PTI – sources in the organization said not every one of the people who took part in the ‘improper way of behaving’ is ladies.
The masjid’s warning does not refer, as of now, to men being prohibited. Previously, guests have tried to film music recordings. A more established notice peruses: “Music video shoot is completely disallowed inside the mosque.”
Delhi Commission for Ladies boss Swati Maliwal is among the people who have hammered the masjid’s structure, calling it ‘disgraceful’ and ‘illegal’.
“What do they feel? This isn’t India… this is Iraq (and) no one will speak loudly against separation allotted to ladies straightforwardly… no one is over the Constitution.
For such a Talibanesque demonstration, we have given a notification to them. The DCW has looked for a reaction from the masjid and a report in four days or less.
