J-Hope of BTS Completes Military Service and Receives Warm Welcome from Fans and Fellow Idols

J-Hope, a member of BTS, was discharged from South Korea‘s military on October 17, 2024, after completing his mandatory 18-month service.

As he exited the camp in Wonju, Gangwon province, he was welcomed by fellow member Jin, who presented him with flowers.

In addition to the support from Jin, the boy group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) extended their well wishes to J-Hope. During a Weverse livestream, he expressed gratitude for their thoughtful gesture of sending a bouquet and handwritten card. TXT’s leader Soobin shared that J-Hope had always been kind to them, even when they were just trainees, making his return a joyful occasion for both groups.

As a symbol of brotherhood between K-pop groups, TXT showed their admiration for J-Hope by sending him a bouquet and a handwritten card. In a Weverse livestream, J-Hope expressed his gratitude, pointing out how meaningful the gesture was, especially with TXT’s busy schedule. TXT’s Soobin later recalled the bond they share with J-Hope, noting how he always radiated warmth and encouragement, even during their trainee days.
