No Hurdles for the Chinese Self-Driving Software

On Monday, two separate sources told Reuters Tesla had agreed with Baidu to utilize the Chinese tech goliath’s planning permit for information assortment on China’s public streets, which they depicted as a vital stage for FSD to be presented in the country.

What’s more, a top Chinese auto affiliation said on Sunday that Tesla’s Model 3 and Y vehicles were among the models that it had tried and viewed as consistent with China’s information security requirements.

Information security and consistency have been key motivations behind why the U.S. electric vehicle creator, which carried out the most independent variant of its Autopilot programming a long time back, still can’t seem to make FSD accessible in China, its second-biggest market universally, regardless of client interest.
