In the past nine years, the central government has connected every village to electricity and provided LPG to nearly 190 million families. India strives to provide all citizens with inclusive, dependable, equitable, and sustainable energy.

The world’s largest LED distribution initiative, which saves more than 45 billion energy units annually, was introduced in 2015.

  • India connects villages, provides LPG, and ensures sustainable energy access.
  • E20 launch, 600 locations, 11.5 percent ethanol percentage in gasoline.

In addition, PM Modi highlighted India’s efforts in energy transition and green growth despite being the world‘s most populous country. He stressed India’s leadership in solar and wind power and set a greater goal of 50% non-fossil installed capacity by 2030.

According to Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, the entire country would have specialist gas stations offering E20 gasoline, a blend of 20% ethanol with gasoline, by 2025.
