As teams battle in super regionals for a spot in the final eight of the College World Series, the college baseball season is speeding towards its ultimate destination: Omaha, Nebraska.
The College World Series will start on Friday, June 16, and end no later than Sunday, June 24, or Monday, June 25. The three-round NCAA baseball tournament, which started with regionals around the nation, continued with super regionals and will culminate in Omaha, is now at its last stage.

Wake Forest and Florida, who are ranked first and second, have advanced after seven of the eight super-regional series have been completed. On Monday night, the final two positions will be filled. Wake Forest, Florida, and Virginia are the six groups that have already secured their spots as of Sunday.
With a sweep over Alabama in a best-of-three super regional series, Wake Forest guaranteed its place in the College World Series. Florida will play Stanford in the first game of the CWS. Stanford defeated Texas in the final Game 3 thanks to a walk-off single by Drew Bowser.

Play between Florida and Virginia will start on either June 16 or June 17. The team that overcame Oregon in three games, including an 11-6 victory in Game 3, will face TCU.
Tennessee will take on LSU after defeating Kentucky 8-3 on Sunday. The LSU-Southern Miss game will either take place on June 16 or June 17.
The 76th College World Series will take place from Friday, June 16, through Monday, June 26 (if necessary), and super regionals will take place from June 9 to 12. For the 73rd consecutive year, the CWS will be held in Omaha, Nebraska, at Charles Schwab Field, where all games will be played.
