Air Canada Unveils Free Wi-Fi for Aeroplan Loyalty Program

  • Free gate-to-gate Wi-Fi now available for Aeroplan Members on select Air Canada flights
  • Sponsored by Bell, enabling streaming, gaming, and more
  • Available on flights across North America, Mexico, and the Caribbean

Air Canada has rolled out complimentary, high-speed Wi-Fi for Aeroplan Members on flights throughout North America, as well as to and from Mexico and the Caribbean.

Currently, 88% of Air Canada’s fleet is equipped with Wi-Fi, and the airline aims to complete installation across its entire fleet, including the Q400s operating from Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport, by early 2026.

Sky-High Streaming: Aeroplan Members Get Free Wi-Fi on Air Canada Flights

This new offering underscores the growing demand for in-flight connectivity and enhances the travel experience for Aeroplan Members, who now enjoy seamless internet access throughout their journey. Whether for work or leisure, passengers can stay connected from takeoff to landing.

Bell’s sponsorship marks a continued investment in customer-first digital experiences. Following their free in-flight texting initiative in 2023, this upgrade represents a significant leap in value and convenience for travelers relying on digital services.

The availability of this free Wi-Fi applies to Air Canada, Rouge, and Express flights operated by CRJ900s, with additional rollout planned for regional Q400 aircraft. This move places Air Canada ahead of many global competitors in terms of in-flight connectivity offerings.

By incentivizing Aeroplan membership with meaningful perks, Air Canada continues to drive loyalty and digital engagement. The program becomes more than just a frequent flyer plan — it’s now a gateway to premium onboard experiences.

Air Canada’s collaboration with Bell transforms how Aeroplan Members fly, combining loyalty with unmatched connectivity to deliver a smoother, smarter journey in the skies.

“Connectivity is no longer a luxury — it’s a necessity, even at 35,000 feet.”
