Government declares the Eidul Fitr holidays for April 21–25

For the occasion of Eidul Fitr, which signifies the conclusion of the holy month of Ramazan, the government has declared a five-day holiday.

According to the official announcement made by the Cabinet Division, the holidays have been set for Friday, April 21, through Tuesday, April 25, giving people a five-day respite to observe the holy feast.

The Eidul Fitr

In a statement dated April 13, it was said, “The Prime Minister is happy to announce the 21st to 25th of April 2023 (Friday to Tuesday) as public holidays on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

An important holiday in the Islamic calendar, Eidul Fitr is observed as the celebration of the holy month of Ramazan.
