Sunday saw the airport in Hamburg stay closed because of a potential custody dispute. When police arrived, a man driving a child through a barrier and onto the airport property was being dealt with.

On Saturday night, the airport was closed to all takeoffs and landings due to a car parked beneath an aircraft.

According to information posted on social media platform X, the police have verified that their negotiators are speaking with the individual inside the vehicle.

A Turkish translator is in contact with police regarding a man who shot the mother of a child. Although the claims cannot be verified by the police, the father had communication with her. Authorities at the Hamburg airport have planned 286 flights carrying 34,500 passengers for Sunday.
