Canada promises to rebuild “professional relationship” with India

  • Pierre Poilievre will mend the “professional relationship” with India.
  • Poilievre expressed disapproval of Justin Trudeau’s decision to remove 41 Canadian ambassadors from India.
  • Poilievre is predicted to take over as prime minister of Canada shortly.

The Indian community in Canada has been reassured by opposition leader Pierre Poilievre that, should he be elected prime minister, he will mend the “professional relationship” with India.

The Conservative Party’s leader, Poilievre, also denounced the “aggression shown” to Indian diplomats stationed in Canada as well as the rise in Hinduphobia in the nation.

Professional relationship

India is the world‘s largest democracy, and Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Poilievre has stated that his country is committed to mending its professional relationship with the Indian government.

Poilievre expressed disapproval of Justin Trudeau’s decision to remove 41 Canadian ambassadors from India, claiming that Trudeau’s incapacity and lack of professionalism had caused serious conflicts with major international countries, notably India.

He denounced the destruction of a Hindu temple in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and the pro-Khalistan automobile rallies that took place in Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver.

Poilievre defended the principles of faith, family, and freedom that are important to Hindus, saying that it is not appropriate to assault Hindu temples, threaten Hindu leaders, or act aggressively toward Indian diplomats.

In addition, he denounced Hinduphobia and recommended that anyone who targets Hindu individuals or property be charged with a crime. Given his party’s substantial advantage over the ruling Liberal Party and majority territory, Poilievre is predicted to take over as prime minister of Canada shortly.
