Ways to lower high cholesterol in Your 30s

A serious problem that can obstruct the normal circulation of blood and oxygen throughout the body is high cholesterol. It is brought on by a sedentary lifestyle, which includes eating fatty foods, not moving around much, and spending a lot of time sitting down.

Since cholesterol is a wax-like substance that the liver produces and cannot dissolve in water, it might have negative effects on one’s health.

Lower high cholesterol

Long-term artery damage, heart disease, and an elevated risk of stroke are all consequences of excessive cholesterol. The supply of oxygen-rich blood to the heart muscle can be impeded by plaque accumulation in coronary arteries.

Low-density lipoprotein (LDL), the “bad” unhealthy kind of cholesterol, and high-density lipoprotein (HDL), the “good” healthy type, are the two different types of cholesterol.

  • High cholesterol hinders blood and oxygen circulation due to a sedentary lifestyle.
  • LDL cholesterol accumulates in arteries, while HDL transports excess cholesterol to the liver.
  • Regular exercise, yoga, and cholesterol testing are essential for stress reduction.

LDL cholesterol can accumulate and create plaques in the arteries, whereas HDL carries extra cholesterol from the arteries to the liver.

People can adopt a heart-healthy diet, keep a healthy weight, abstain from smoking, consume less alcohol, and reduce stress to lower bad cholesterol.

Yoga and breathing exercises can reduce stress, and it’s important to exercise for at least 30 minutes each day, five days a week or more. To track LDL or HDL levels, routine cholesterol testing is essential.
