First Entertainment City

The National said that Qiddiya City, a gambling enclave in Saudi Arabia, is expected to draw 48 million tourists a year. The project would have four e-sports-specific arenas with a combined maximum capacity of 73,000. Major e-sports competitions will be held there year-round.

The cutting-edge gaming and e-sports district seeks to profit from the expanding online gaming sector, which is anticipated to reach US $34.11 billion in market volume by 2028 and grow at a rate of 5.47% per year.

The Saudi Crown Prince launched the idea as a component of Saudi Vision 2030, an initiative to diversify and grow Saudi Arabia‘s economy, lessen dependency on oil earnings, and provide employment opportunities for young people.
