President of Columbia: Iran of attacking Israel as “a prelude to World War 3”

  • After Iran launched a direct military attack on Israel, tensions in the Middle East have increased.
  • Israel’s defensive systems are in place as it braces for an imminent direct strike from Iran.
  • To resolve the crisis, the UN must call an immediate meeting and make a peace commitment.

After Iran launched a direct military attack on Israel, tensions in the Middle East have increased. The UN and world leaders have denounced the strike and issued a dire warning that it may cause additional instability in the area.

President Gustavo Petro of Colombia accuses US policies of escalating the conflict and declares that his nation is prepared to fight on the defense as well as the offensive in any circumstance.

World War 3

Israel’s defensive systems are in place as it braces for an imminent direct strike from Iran. Israel is grateful for the help it receives from the US, the UK, France, and numerous other nations.

The US has been advised to avoid the clash by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), which has threatened to retaliate more severely from Iran if the Israeli regime commits another error. Following an urgent meeting with senior security officials, US President Joe Biden pledged “ironclad” support for Israel.

According to Josep Borrell, the head of the European Union‘s foreign policy, the strikes represent “an unparalleled escalation and a serious threat to regional security.”

The US’s support for a genocide, according to Colombian President Gustavo Petro, has inflamed the world and is to blame for rising tensions and the possibility of wider violence. To resolve the crisis, the UN must call an immediate meeting and make a peace commitment.
