Mr. Modi asserted on August 15 that India was at a critical juncture and had the power to influence the new global order that was taking shape in the wake of the COVID outbreak. He also promised his people a “New India” with a promising future within the next five years.
The government would launch the “Vishwakarma Yojana” next month, according to the prime minister, with an allocation of $13,000 to $15,000 crore for those with traditional skills. The program will be introduced on Vishwakarma Jayanti the next month.
He continued by saying that the government would soon introduce a program to help city dwellers who want to acquire a home using bank loans.
According to Mr. Modi, his administration would shortly introduce the program for middle-class families who reside in cities but do not own homes.
