The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on Wednesday that over the course of the previous 24 hours, Ukraine’s air force had carried out 12 strikes on Russian soldiers, weapons, and military equipment groupings.
According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces have continued to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol area as well as defensive operations in the east and south of the country.
Ukraine and Russia
It stated that the following Russian targets were hit by Ukrainian missile forces: five artillery pieces, three clusters of military people and equipment, one command post, and two ammunition storage facilities.
There have been 26 documented combat engagements in the last 24 hours, during which the enemy has attacked Ukrainian forces and civilian infrastructure with 77 airstrikes, 10 missile strikes, 44 MLRS attacks, and 77 air defense missiles, causing civilian casualties and damage to residential buildings.
The Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions all received artillery fire from Russia, according to the General Staff.
Russia, on the other side, claimed that a civilian was hurt as a result of a total of 14 shelling attacks that Ukraine’s military forces launched on the Donetsk region of the Ukrainian province that Russia has occupied.
