This year’s conference was centered around “New Horizons in Investment, Trade, and Services.” The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Federation of Arab Businessmen, and the Union of Arab Chambers joined forces this year to support the event, which was organized by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the General Secretariat of the Arab League.
India-Arab relations, according to Muraleedharan, “have stood the test of time.” Trade between India and the Arab world grew despite the recent pandemic and international geopolitical crises. He claimed that throughout many generations, India’s sizable expatriate population in the Arab world has aided in the development of the nations where they live and call their adopted homes.
Entrepreneurship, scientific and technological cooperation, environmental preservation, and a stronger emphasis on food and energy security are now providing a fresh drive to our economic involvement, the Minister said.
