ISRO Working Hard to Build New Reusable Rocket

India is purportedly wanting to plan and construct another reusable rocket for the worldwide market, Department of Space Secretary and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Chairman S Somanath declared during the Bengaluru Space Expo (BSX) 2022 on Monday.

The following send-off of the vehicle from ISRO after GSLV Mk III could be a reusable one and decreasing the expense of sending off satellites is normal. The space organization will allegedly work with the space business, new companies, and NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) for the reusable rocket.

According to a report by PTI, during the seventh release of the Bengaluru Space Expo 2022, ISRO Chairman S Somanath declared the designs to plan and fabricate another reusable rocket. As of now, it costs ISRO between $10,000 (generally Rs. 7,97,800) and $15,000 (generally Rs. 11,96,800) to place a one-kilogram payload into space.

  • ISRO trying its best to build a new reusable rocket.
  • Said by ISRO Chairman S Somnath at Bengaluru Space Expo.
  • He also says it costs up to $10,000 to $ 15,000.

Somanath allegedly said that ISRO would need to lessen it to $5,000 (generally Rs. 3,98,000) or even $1,000 (generally Rs. 79,700) per kilogram and that the best way to do so is to make the rocket reusable. He added that the nation doesn’t yet have reusable innovation in the send-off vehicles area.
